Historical Note

The UW World Series at Meany Hall presents performances of internationally acclaimed artists in music, theater and dance, as well as award-winning educational programs. The World Series performances introduce nearly 50,000 audience members each year to a wide range of diverse cultures. The Series offers performance programs in four major areas: World Music & Theater, President's Piano, World Dance, and International Chamber Music, which are held at Meany Hall on the University of Washington campus. The educational programs include master classes, in-school artist residencies, workshops, and daytime performances for children.
