The Gifts Program coordinates and supports the negotiation, receipt, documentation, and processing of the Libraries' non-cash gifts. The Gifts and Exchanges Unit was part of the UW Libraries Acqusitions Division until somewhere between 1987 and 1989, when it became a separate section of the Libraries known as either Gifts, Gift processing or Gifts processing. by the year 2000 it appeared in the directory as the Gifts section/program. Current usage is UW Libraries. Gift Program.
