Kenneth Irving Ross (1909-1990) was an explorer of the Southwest and kept many photographical accounts of his explorations. A section of the collection is dedicated to his participation with the Explorers' Camp that was created during World War II and was started by an Ansel F. Hall.

The Kenneth Irving Ross papers consist of correspondence collected by Ross as well as retyped correspondence. Also held within the collection are some of Ross' exploration accounts and documents regarding his involvement with the Explorers' Camp created by Ansel F. Hall. General records and notes are also contained in the collection.
