Tape recorded interview conducted by Fannie C. Roberts in Spring 1974 (60 min.) and transcript.

The interview concerns history of Congregation Ezra Bessarath from its inception, 1915, to present day. Discussed are the Rev. Morris Scharhon and the Sephardic Hebrew School at Ezra Bessaroth, the first Hazan at Avath Achim Congregation and the second Sephardic Bikur Holim. It includes a description of the community (Rhodes immigrants) and of gatherings at Washington Hall.
