Professor of microbiology, University of Washington.

Charles Albert Evans was born 1912. Professor Evans served as chair of the Microbiology Department for 24 years. He was succeeded by Dr. John Sherris in 1970. From 1968 until 1970, Dr. Evans served as special assistant to President Odegaard, Directing the Special Student Program Office. Dr. Evans also chaired the Senate Executive Committee during 1967-1968.
