Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Mitsugi M. Kasai (1918-) was born in 30 January 1918, in Milford, Utah and was raised on a farm in Idaho. He joined the army in 1946 serving in the Military Intelligence Service teaching Japanese and then during the Korean War serving in Japan monitoring pro-Communist Korean organizations and Japanese who had been repatriated from Russia. Kasai retired from the military in 1973, and became an activist with the JACL.
