These photographs document a trip on the Colorado River through Glen Canyon in which Howard Foulger participated. The dates of the trip were May 2 - 5, 1951. No further biographical information about Howard Foulger is available. The trip went from Hite Ferry, at the upper end of Glen Canyon, through Glen Canyon to Lees Ferry, Arizona. Captions and descriptions were written on the slide by Mr. Foulger, and are reproduced in the descriptions of the individual photographs.

Any corrections or additions to the captions are indicated by brackets [_]. Mr. Foulger numbered the slides with a system of his own, in which they are given the numbers A18-2, 18-4" and so on, but there are gaps in this numbering system indicating slides that are missing. For the purposes of this inventory, the slides were re-numbered in consecutive order. Mr. Foulger's numbers will be added at the end of the description, in parentheses (_).
