Historical Note
Rodney Howard Brady (b. 1933), a native Utahn, served on many religious and civic capacities during his life, including missionary, bishop, and patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: officer in the United States Air Force; assistant secretary for administraion and management in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare; and president of Weber State College, among others.
Content Description
The Rodney H. Brady papers (1962-1985) consist of consist of theses, general materials, and 11 bound autobiographical volumes that document the life of Rodney Howard Brady (b. 1933) up to the mid-1980s. The volumes are typescript and include journal entries and photocopies of photographs, certificates, news clippins, and other documents. Boxes 5-8 are an addendum from 2004, and contain bound volumes detailing various military, engineering and company manuals. Box 10 contains a thesis, dissertation, and an autobiographical history of his involvement with scouting.
