Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Mary Hopkinson (1880-1970) was born Maria Amelia Bartels in Hamburg, Germany. She came to the United States before the turn of the 20th century and married Edwin William Hopkinson in 1903. Mary Hopkinson was heavily involved in the labor movement and was a founding member of the Washington Pension Union.
