Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Harold Gable Nelson was born in Vermont in 1871. In 1900 at age 30, he married Isabel Sowers and moved to Elma, Washington in Grays Harbor County where he worked as a photographer. Though he advertized himself as a specialist in home portraiture, Nelson is most known for his photographs of the logging industry. Nelson died on September 6, 1947.
