Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Born in Poland in 1889, Mr. Kleiner emigrated to Calgary, Alberta at the age of 18. He moved to Tacoma, Washington, established his own retail lumber business in 1914, and became a leader in the Tacoma civic and Jewish communities.
