Tape-recorded interview covers the dates 1890-1936, and conducted by Jeanette Schrieber and Karyl Winn, Feb. 15, 1972. Transcript is unedited.
Mrs. Levy, assissted by her sisters, Marian Fasten Grinstein and Natalie Fasten Rosenwald, discuss their ancestors, the Mayer Brothers and the Phillipses partnership with his brothers Joseph and Marcus, established probably the first silversmithing business in Seattle in the 1890s. The firm is now in the wholesale jewelry business only.
