Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Miguel Peña Vargas (known as "El Funi") is a flamenco icon from the Andalucía region of Spain. The style of song and dance he performs originates from the Romani people in Spain.
Pepe Torres is a dancer from Moron de la Frontera in Spain. He is a descendent of a long line of Romani flamenco dancers. He performed flamenco as a child, but only began his official education at the age of 11 under the teachers Farruco and Rafael. He has since performed his dancing around the world and is the principal dancer for the group Son de la Frontera. His dancing has been praised for its spontaneous naturalness.
