Historical NoteReturn to Top
Dr. Charles Edwin Blackburn (1915-1976) was a Professor of English at Washington State University from 1951 to 1957, and then again from 1964 to 1976. Alice Blackburn, a graduate of the University of Washington, worked at the Pullman public library. Both Blackburns were active in the Community Congregational Church and in many types of committee and civic work, and the materials in this collection reflect that involvement.
