Vernon T. Sanders, his wife, Mary, and children, Bobby and Mary Elizabeth, lived on 15th Ave NE in the University District. Sanders was a teacher at the John Muir School. This album was likely made by Mary Sanders.

Processed by Katie Burke, 2014; Beck Prigot, 2014, processing completed in 2015.
The album was received in highly deteriorated condition and pages were loose. Every attempt was made to preserve the original order of the album, but some of the order was already lost. The pages were so badly deteriorated that they had to be discarded; all captions on the pages were recorded in this finding aid. The photographs were removed from the album and stored individually in folders. The item numbers refer to the album page numbers (1a & 1b means the two photographs on page one)
