Historical NoteReturn to Top
Carol Casler (then Carol Kriz) served as the Advisory Committee Chair and Director of the environmental activism project, Idaho '86. Plannng for the project began in January of 1985 and the final report was submitted in January of 1987. The report's Executive Summary states that the project "involved conservationists and sportsmen working together to strengthen the conservation community and to reach out to the public. With a budget of over $60,000 more than 30 organizations from all regions of the State were pulled into the work. The unifying purpose, and that which sets it apart from all others, was the goal of developign a political consciousness among Idaho citizens concerned abuot natural resources, a goal heretofore not attempted in Idaho."
