This collection contains records of the Washington Farm Bureau Federation, from 1920 to 1970. The collection primarily consists of published papers pertaining to the Washington Farm Bureau Federation and the American Farm Bureau Federation, including policies and resolutions from annual conventions, as well as pamphlets for annual meetings and annual reports. The collection also contains photographs of the Federation during the 1950s.

Preliminary Inventory:

Photographs of the American Farm Bureau Federation and Washington Farm Bureau Federation organizations (1952-54), published national and state Federation policies from 1953 to 1965, copies of resolutions from annual conventions between 1947 and 1957, copies of "The Spokane County Farm Bureau News" from 1920 and 1921, and "Washington State Farm Bureau News" (December 1959), pamphlets for annuals meetings and annual reports from 1940 to 1970, and miscellaneous printed materials pertaining to the Federation.

Following the founding of the American Farm Bureau Federation in 1919, the Washington Farm Bureau Federation was established in 1920. The Washington Farm Bureau Federation is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing services to agricultural communities, including rural electrification, telephone access, health insurance, and banking. The Federation represents twenty-five counties throughout the state of Washington, with headquarters in Lacey, Washington.
