The collection consists of three books, 6.75" x 4.25", of class notes dated 1900 to 1902. They cover classes in the practice of medicine, nervous diseases and gynecology. The books are handwritten and in good condition.
Historical NoteReturn to Top
George William Tamiesie was born in Marion, Iowa, 1875 May 9. He was registered at the University of Oregon Medical School from 1898-1902 from which he received his M.D. degree in 1902. He practiced medicine in Portland, Oregon, and was on the staff at St. Vincent Hospital until 1956 when he retired. He was a member of the University of Oregon Alumni Association.
