Historical NoteReturn to Top
Carl Joseph Christensen (b. 1901) was born in Provo, Utah, and graduated with his B.S. from Brigham Young University, his M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He worked at Bell Telephone Labs during the 1930s-1940s and became dean and a professor at the University of Utah from the 1940s-1960s. He also served in various LDS Church bishoprics during the 1930s-1960s.
