Scope and Content: Court papers, memoranda, telephone logs, speeches, photographs, diaries, reports, address lists.

Court papers concern Littell's successful libel suit against columnist Drew Pearson (bulk 1953). Pearson in 1949 accused Littell of being a Propaganda agent for the Dutch without registering as a foreign agent. Also present are correspondence and telephone logs from Littell's private law practice (1946- ca. 1960), speeches by Littell (1942, 1949, 1958), and two photographs. Also includes diaries (1951-1958), reports, address lists, and related records, particularly from his service in the Public Lands Division, U.S. Dept. of Justice.

Membership applications for National Society Colonial Dames, Society of Mayflower Descendants, and National Society of United States Daughters of 1812 completed between 2001 and 2002. Also includes a membership certificate for Katherine M. Littell's acceptance into the General Society of Mayflower Descendants in 2003 and a photocopied 1920 article on Edmund Munger from the "Historical and Philosophical Society of Ohio." Munger was Norman Littell's great-great-grandfather.
