Historical NoteReturn to Top
Trey McIntyre Project was a project-based dance company dedicated to realizing the artistic vision of artistic director Trey McIntyre. The organization focused on McIntyre's explorations in dance, film, photography, and writing. A key component of this realization was letting audiences engage in the creative process--whether through making a ballet in front of their very eyes--or giving them behind the scenes access to a shoot.
Established in Boise, Idaho, in 2008, the group toured nationally and internationally, in places such as China and South Korea, with a small troupe of dancers. The project disbanded in 2014.

The Trey McIntyre Project Records contain material related to all six years of local and touring performances including programs, brochures, posters, press releases, publicity, and other documents. The colleciton also contains ephemera with TMP branding as well as posters announcing performances. Electronic records exist on three hard drives, and photographs and DVDs are also present in the collection.
