Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Edward Thomas Osborn was born on October 4, 1865 in Liverpool, England. Osborn was elected to the Royal Institute of British Architects on March 7, 1892. He worked as an architect in Great Britian and China and taught school in the Philipines before coming to Canada and the United States. Osborn settled in Seattle, Washington, where he was connected for many years with the firm of Bebb & Gould. Osborn received a commentary signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt for contributions to the United States during the First World War. He returned to Great Britian and offered his services there during the Second World War. Osborn died in England during the War period.
