Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Esther Copeland Anderson was the daughter of Clarinda Chambers-Copeland. Clarinda, with her husband, held a license to operate a trading post on the Siletz Reservation. Esther became a school teacher in Siletz and other Lincoln County schools after growing up in the Siletz community.
