Donnelly's dissertation was published by the University of Washington Press as "The Changing Lives of Refugee Hmong Women" in 1994. She co-authored a book on Hmong batik and taught anthropology and sociology at South Seattle Community College.

Scope and Content: Research files, interview tapes and transcripts, exhibit files, course notes, photographs, posters, clippings and miscellaneous files. Mostly concerns her work with Hmong refugees in the U.S., study of traditional Hmong culture and an exhibit about the Hmong at the Burke Museum from 1996. Also includes papers of a co-researcher, Marshall Hurlich who also studied Hmong in the Seattle area.
Restrictions on Access: Open to all users.
Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.
