Biographical Note

Thomas Clifford Stave was a commercial attache in Tehran, Tokyo, and Bangkok. Born May 31, 1920 in Arlington Washington, in 1945 he married Virginia Searing, whom he met while they attended the University of Washington. After service in the U.S. Army during WWII, he entered government service. He and Virginia retired to Bainbridge Island, and he died December 11, 1986 in Seattle, Washington.
