Born in 1861 in the Småland Province of Sweden, Frank August Londgren immigrated to America in 1882, eventually settling in Malmo, Nebraska. There he met and married Christine "Tine" Pettersson, born in 1866 in Torup Parish in Skåne, Sweden. They started a homestead together and had 11 children who were all born and grew up in Nebraska. Some of their children remained in Nebraska as farmers, while others moved to Minnesota, Portland, and the Seattle/Tacoma areas of Washington establishing businesses.

Content DescriptionReturn to Top

This is an informally-written account of the Londgren, or Lundgren, family history. It begins with Frank August Londgren and Christine Pettersson, who in their emigration from Sweden in started the American branch of the family. The narrative continues with chapters delineating the three generations. Photographs are interspersed with stories that give brief but more individual biographies of the family members.

This collection consists of one spiral bound book half an inch thick.
