The Ralph M. Aldous correspondence was written during World War I. The correspondence chronicles Aldous' experiences while serving in the Headquarters Company, 362nd Infantry. Aldous was a Latter-day Saint soldier in the U.S. Army. He writes to his wife, Phyllis, in Utah. He also tells of training, initial at Camp Lewis, near Seattle, then he writes from France. In his letters, he mentions Latter-day Saint Sunday meetings and of meeting with an authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
