History written by Carolyn Blumenthal Danz of the Berkman family, especially of Helen Berkman Blumenthal (Mrs. Danz's mother). The two photographs show the Berkman family home.

Scope and Content: Tape recorded interview of Helen Blumenthal conducted by her daughter, Carolyn Danz and Meta Kaplan in 1978.
Tape provides information about the Birkman family, Gottstein family, and some other early Seattle Jewish families with which Mrs. Blumenthal was acquainted.
