Content DescriptionReturn to Top

Diary written by Coonse while he lived in Chehalis Point, Washington Territory.

Coonse was apparently a young boy (age 16-18) who got the journal second-hand from an Andrew Levitt. The first entries are those of Levitt and then Coonse's entries begin with the heading "Henry's Journal".

Henry Jackson appears to be another name used by Henry Coonse, not another individual.
