Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Jessie B. Merrick moved to Seattle from Wisconsin in about 1910. Starting in 1910, she served as the Director of Physical Education for women at the University of Washington and had a position that was heavily involved with young women’s activities. Later, she was involved with Seattle Public Schools and girls physical education.
