Political activist of Everett, Washington.
Henson's profession was that of a high school teacher of U.S. Government and Civics, and U.S. History. Active politically, he was the Executive Secretary of the Washington State Democratic Central Committee, 1948-1950. He ran unsuccessfully in 1952 for the U.S. House 2nd Congressional District, defeated by Jack Westland, and ran again in 1954. Not documented in these papers are the following activities: Campaign Chairman, Henry M. Jackson, 1944; Administrative Assistant, Henry M. Jackson, no date; Member of the Washington State Legislature, 1940; Assistant Director of the State Department of Licensing, no date; Clerk of the State House of Representatives, Appropriations Committee.
