Cecil T. Axworthy was a Baptist minister, born in West Orange, New Jersey, and educated at Redlands University and Berkeley Baptist Divinity School. He served congregations in San Francisco, Madera, and Vallejo, California from 1926-1942, and in Spokane, Washington from 1942-1956. HE then served from 1956-1967 as pastor of the Alhambra First Baptist Church, Alhambra, California.
