Biographical NoteReturn to Top

The partnership of Per Edward Larss and Joseph E.N. Duclos was formed in Dawson in August 1899 after acquiring the business of E.A. Hegg which was originally started in 1898. In 1904 Larss withdrew from the partnership and Duclos continued the business until 1912. Besides portrait work, they carried thousands of views in stock including scenes along the White Pass, around Dyea, Skagway, Bennett and Whitehorse.
