The Jewish Federation and Council of Greater Seattle was established in 1926 as Seattle Jewish Fund, and later became Federated Jewish Fund (1936), Federated Jewish Fund & Council of Seattle (1950), Jewish Federation and Council of Greater Seattle (1966), and Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle (1973).
