Historical NoteReturn to Top

Eugene J. Holmes graduated from the University of Utah in 1940 and joined the United States Army. In July 1941, he was assigned duty in the Phillippines. Holmes was first taken prisoner at Bataan when the Phillippines fell to the Japanese.
