The collection includes monthly newspapers documenting Siletz tribal events, council decisions, and tribal member achievements from 1983-1989. Each paper contains tribal council minutes and timesheets. Notable events recorded in the collection include the unveiling of the Veteran Memorial Marker at Paul Washington Cemetery, induction of Art Bensell into the American Indian Athletic Hall of Fame in Kansas, and recognition of Archie Ben as an Honorary Chief of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
