Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Thomas Reid Irving (1896-1979) graduated from the Everett High School in 1914. He worked for the Sultan Railroad and Timber Company and the Washington State Highway Department. He may have served in the navy during World War I. In his later years, he lived in Marysville, Washington.

Three photograph albums created by Tom Irving containing scenes of Everett, Arlington, Wetmore, camping, Standard Railroad and Timber Company near Mt. Higgins at Hazel, Washington (the AYPE Forestry Building logs came from this area), activities related to Everett High School, 1909 Fleet in Everett Harbor (for the AYPE?), Merrill and Ring logging camp at Pysht, WWI sailors and ships, Japanese cedar log buyers at logging camp ("begin of log export") in 1925, Monoroe Logging company, unloading herd of wild elk at Sultan, Potlatch parade in Seattle.
