William Cornell (1812-1891) was a pioneer and methodist minister who moved from Alexandria, Ohio to the Oregon Territory, establishing a land claim along what would become Cornell Road, in the Cedar Mill suburb of Portland, Oregon.

Collection consists of a photocopy of the diary describing William Cornell's 1852 crossing of the plains in to Oregon.
