      <abstract encodinganalog="5203_">Associated Students of Seattle Pacific (ASSP) is the student government body for Seattle Pacific University. ASSP consists of several divisions: Campus Activities, Campus Ministries, Student Government (including ASSP Senate) and Student Media. These divisions are involved in programming campus events, developing the weekly Chapel and GROUP programs, facilitating student representation on university committees and supporting various groups and clubs on campus. This collection of records covers most aspects of the operation and activities of ASSP.</abstract>

      <p>One set of records dates from 1935 to 1986 and contains agreements and contracts, committees and task forces, correspondence, publications, financial records, President's Cabinet agendas and minutes, and ASSP Senate minutes and agendas. The collection is housed in a series of 13 boxes.</p>
      <p>The second set dates from 1974 to 2009 and contains ASSP Senate minutes, ASSP President records, ASSP Officer records, general ASSP records, Student Ministries records, Student Budget committee records, student publication records, and financial records. The collection is housed in a series of 74 binders.</p>
