         <p>The Ballou Family papers consist of a guest register and scrapbook, cash account book, a diary and a certificate of membership for the Independent Order of Good Templars. The collection also includes, the genealogy of Robert Austin, of Kingstown, Rhode Island and the 1859 marriage license of Orlando R. Ballou and Elizabeth Boyd Ballou.</p>
