         <p>Recreational ranch at Goose Prairie, Washington. Kathryn Kershaw and
		  Isabelle Lynn were owners of the Double K Mountain Ranch. Their conservation
		  interests are reflected in their connection with Sierra Club, Snoqualmie
		  National Forest, U.S. Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, U.S. Department of
		  Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Senate Committee on Interior and Insular
		  Affairs, and Wilderness Society.</p>

         <p>Manuscript draft, including drawings, titled, "Flora of Eastern Slope
		  Cascades" by Eva M. Moody. 49 leaves. The following information is also on the
		  cover page: 3400-7000 feet, Double "K" Mountain Ranch, Goose Prairie, July
		  1963. The manuscript includes information on flora name, family, locality, a
		  color pencil drawing, and bibliographic reference with page numbers.</p>
         <p>Papers reflect the interests of the owners and operators, Isabelle
		  Lynn and Kathryn Kershaw, in conservation, especially the proposed Cougar Lakes
		  Wilderness Area.</p>
