			<p>Organization founded in 1783, membership was restricted to American and French
				officers in the Revolutionary War. Named for the Roman general Lucius Quintus
				Cincinnatus. The object was to perpetuate friendship of members, preserve liberty,
				and assist members and their families requiring aid.</p>
