			 Gallery, an avant-garde art gallery in Seattle, Washington</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5451_" id="a2"><p>Manolides Gallery was one of the first art galleries to open in
		  Seattle's Pioneer Square. Curator Jimmy Manolides opened the gallery, known for
		  its avant-garde works, in the 1970s. </p><p>Jimmy Manolides was also a musician who played in the 1950s band the
		  Frantics. He died in 2016.</p></bioghist><scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_" id="a3"><p>15 issues of the Manolides Gallery 
		<title render="italic" linktype="simple">Art Form</title> newsletters. The newsletters
		announce new exhibits on display at the gallery and provide information on
		featured artists and their work. Featured artists include Fred Huntsman, Fred
		Andrews, Larry Heald, Gaylen Hansen, Suzanne Lamon, Cheryl Laemmle, Marvin
