Washington State University’s Filipino Club is a campus social organization for students from or descended from natives of the Philippines, and dates to 1922. It was reestablished in 1993 as the Filipino American Student Association (FASA).

This collection consists of approximately 500 photographs of activities and events of Washington State University's Filipino American Student Association, apparently taken by group members during the 1998 and 1999 school years. While many of the photographs are unlabeled, many were described prior to their arrival at MASC and those descriptions are mounted in the photographs’ sleeves.

The collection originally came in three plain photo albums; the albums were discarded and the photographs were foldered in their original sleeves and retained in their original chronological order.

This collection is open and available for research use.

This collection was received as UPC 2006-03 at Washington State University (WSU) Libraries' Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections (MASC) in fall of 2006. A printout of an online calendar of 2005-2006 FASA events came with the collection, and was discarded during processing.

This collection was processed by History graduate student Nathan Sowry and University Archivist Mark O'English in August, 2010.
