The Sonia Johnson photograph collection contains photographs and slides of Equal Rights Amendment demonstrations in Salt Lake City and elsewhere. Also in the collection are photographs taken from television of the excommunication trial of Sonia Johnson as well as general photographs.

The Sonia Johnson collection contains photographs of various Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) demonstrations, especially those demonstrations related to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The collection includes photographs taken of a television broadcast relating to the excommunication trial of Sonia Johnson from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. General images of friends and associates of Johnson are also included in the collection.
The Sonia Johnson photograph collection is digitized.
