      <p>Valerie Galindo received an associates degree from Boise Junior College in 1965, a bachelors in fine arts from Boise State University in 1984, and a masters in art education from BSU in 1986. She taught art classes as a special lecturer at Boise State from 1985 until 1994, and from 1988 to 1994 was also gallery director for the Art Department.</p>
