History of Baker and Johnston
The Baker and Johnston Photographic Studio was run by Charles S. Baker and Eli
Johnston in Evanston, Wyoming. They are best known for their series of photographs
of Native Americans primarily from the Shoshone, Arapahoe, and Apache tribes.
Scope and Content
Collection contains original glass plate negatives and copy prints of Native
Americans primarily from the Shoshone, Arapahoe, and Apache tribes.
