The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry was founded in 1867 and is the oldest agricultural advocacy group in the United States. The Grange has been a driving force behind some of the most progressive legislation in the United States including the Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890, the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, and the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which granted women the right to vote in 1920.

This pamphlet, written by Alice Pierson and published by the National Woman Suffrage Publishing Company in 1915, states that the National Grange will "reaffirm its unqualified endorsement of woman suffrage and encourage all state granges to take similar action [and] endorse and support the movement to secure universal suffrage by amendment of the Federal Constitution." The Grange also empowered its Legislative Committee to "take charge of the campaign work for women suffrage…and make every effort to co-operate with all other bodies working for the same end."

In addition to these endorsements, the pamphlet includes a statement from "The National Grange Monthly" regarding women's suffrage and opinions and testimonies from the leaders of granges in ten different states.
