         <p>The California Photograph Collection spans from 1898 through 1963. It consists of photographs and postcards of California state parks, missions, San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake, Los Angeles, and an ostrich farm in Pasadena. A series of advertisements for Singer sewing machines attached to pictures and explanations of California sights is also included. The entirety of the collection gives an insight into California as a whole.</p>
