Administrative Note
During the late nineteenth and early-mid twentieth centuries, many Montana businesses produced
elaborate billheads and letterheads. These provide information about the businesses and also
are excellent examples of decorative engraving.
This artificial collection includes billheads and letterheads for various businesses located
throughout the state of Montana from the 1860s through the 1980s.
Arranged alphabetically by name of town in which the business was located.
Collection is open for research
